Dozens of retired Generals and Admirals back Iran deal, and the head of a group opposing the deal quits after actually reading it.

When the bipartisan advocacy group United Against Nuclear Iran decided last week to mobilize opposition against the nuclear deal with Tehran, Gary Samore knew he could no longer serve as its president.

The reason: After long study, Mr. Samore, a former nuclear adviser to President Obama, had concluded that the accord was in the United States’ interest.

“I think President Obama’s strategy succeeded,” said Mr. Samore, who left his post on Monday. “He has created economic leverage and traded it away for Iranian nuclear concessions.”

It seems that the more people actually take a look at this deal the more likely they are to support the President and his dealings with Iran.

And fuck Chuck Schumer for putting politics ahead of our national interest.

By the way do you know who is going to be replacing Mr. Samore as the head of United Against Nuclear Iran?
This guy.

Not exactly a surprise considering that John McCain considered him so in line with his way of thinking that he wanted to tap him as his VP, instead of this lunatic.

That may be the last good thing he did for our President, and this country.
